Taking educational technology straight to the classroom door.

With Covid restrictions putting a stop to exhibitions, WMP Creative helped BenQ find another way to bring their education technology solutions directly to their customers, with a roadshow campaign designed to drive collaboration forwards.

Creating a stage for BenQ's story.

With exhibitions off the table, BenQ needed another way to reach schools, colleges and universities directly.

With Covid restrictions meaning exhibitions weren't taking place, BenQ needed a new way to showcase its education technology and reach customers outside the exhibition hall. Our brief was to design a campaign that could travel to BenQ's customers instead: a roadshow bringing BenQ's education technology solutions directly to the doors of schools, academies, colleges and universities, built around a bus that toured the country as a rolling showcase and training space.

A visual identity built to move.

A flexible design system that could travel on the road.

We developed an eye-catching campaign built around a continuous line illustration: a flexible design solution that let us illustrate the key strengths of BenQ's education technology solutions wherever the campaign needed to appear.

One identity, applied consistently on and off the bus.

The identity was applied across a full range of campaign assets, including vehicle graphics for the roadshow bus itself, exhibition graphics, social media promotions, animation and web, giving BenQ a consistent look wherever the roadshow, or the campaign, showed up.

Let's work together

Let's partner to create brand, product, and experience solutions that move people and markets.

A roadshow that earned a second year on the road.

The campaign surpassed its targets in year one and was extended for a second year. Over two years, the BenQ Bus travelled across the UK and Northern Ireland, before going on to become the star of the show at major tradeshows and exhibitions including Bett UK. The bus theme became central to BenQ's exhibition presence, with their stand designed around the idea of a bus stop and the promotion around it built on the same theme — turning the original alternative to exhibitions into the centrepiece of their exhibition presence.
