Delivering Prostate Cancer UK's biggest ever March for Men.

WMP Creative has delivered Prostate Cancer UK's annual March for Men for several years, an uplifting, family-friendly sponsored walk. This year's event in Battersea Park brought together over 3,000 participants across 2.5k, 5k and 10k distances, raising over £500,000 in support of life-saving prostate cancer research and support services.

A flagship fundraising event for Prostate Cancer UK.

The brief: deliver an inclusive event that raises funds and awareness for an important cause.

Prostate Cancer UK exists to stop prostate cancer being a killer, funding life-saving research and supporting men and their families. WMP Creative has been proud to deliver their annual March for Men, an uplifting and family-friendly sponsored walk, for several years. The brief was simple in principle but demanding in practice: create an accessible, inclusive event that brings communities together, and find new ways to grow it – in scale, in fundraising and in participation – year after year.

A walk designed to be inclusive and accessible for everyone taking part.

Managing every detail across the park and the route.

The WMP team manages end-to-end delivery, from route planning and branding to logistics, safety, entertainment and catering. Taking place in Battersea Park, London, the whole park comes alive with activity. Food vendors, coffee stalls and an ice cream van keep everyone fuelled, while entertainment in the event village keeps children and adults alike engaged, including jugglers, bubbleologists, giant games and facepainting, as well as live bands and DJs performing both on stage and out on the route.

Growing the event year on year.

Every year, the event grows and improves. WMP assists by coming up with adaptations and new ideas to ensure not only participant retention, but enticement for new ones.
