WMP has run the South West Run series since 2019, an end-to-end events operation spanning three vibrant, city-centre running festivals. Closed-road and community driven, the series welcomes over 19,000 runners each year and raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for local and national charities.

WMP took ownership of the events in 2019, and has been growing the series ever since.
WMP has owned the South West Run series since 2019, covering Run Cheltenham, Great West Run and Weston Super Half. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, all three have bounced back stronger than ever, consistently surpassing pre-Covid numbers, and each event is proudly supported by headline sponsors and a growing network of charity partners.
While runners travel from across the UK to take part, each event remains deeply rooted in its community, a much-loved fixture in the local calendar and a celebration of place, people and purpose.
Our mission is to continue growing the series: increasing charity partnerships to boost fundraising, deepening our connections with local businesses and communities, and refining the runner experience from first click to finish line, and beyond.
