Conceived as a memorial walk for late club legend Graham Taylor, the Taylor Trek also serves as a vital fundraiser for the Trust.
Graham Taylor led Watford FC from the Fourth Division to the top flight in five years, reaching a league runners-up finish in 1983 and the 1984 FA Cup Final, and secured two more promotions to the Premier League during his second spell. Off the pitch, he pioneered bringing the club out into the community, and remains widely adored by supporters. The Taylor Trek launched in 2022 as a wonderful community event that brought the club and its fans together away from match days.

With three routes of varying distances, all starting and finishing at Vicarage Road stadium, the event catered for people from all walks of life and fitness levels. Each route took in locations connected to Graham's life, helping tell the story of a man still widely adored by the club and its ever-growing fanbase.

Further activities for younger participants, and three routes designed to all finish at the same time, ensured the Taylor Trek was a family-friendly event from the outset, set to grow year after year.
